The 2025 Cannes Film Festival is underway with Leave One Day by first-time French filmmaker Amelie Bonnin serving as the opening-night pic.

Mia Threapleton, Michael Cera, Tom Hanks, Riz Ahmed, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson also star in Anderson's Focus Features picture, which premiered at the Palais Sunday night.
