Trump made several false statements and misrepresented some facts during a contentious Oval Office meeting on Wednesday with President Cyril Ramaphosa.

President Trump has singled out White Afrikaner farmers for U.S. refugee status, claiming they're persecuted in South Africa. But most people there say it's simply not true.

The jokes mask a deep-seated anger over the legacy of apartheid and the inequality that many Black people say continues to define life in their country.
