The boyfriend of Ashley Dale, who was shot dead in her home in 2022, has been jailed for five years for conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Miss Dale, 28, died when drug-dealer James Witham barged through the front-door of her home in Old Swan, Liverpool, on 21 August 2022. Witham sprayed the property with bullets from a Skorpion sub-machine gun, one of which struck Miss Dale as she tried to flee out of the back door of the house in Leinster Road.

Lee Harrison claimed that the murder of his girlfriend Ashley Dale caused a "downward spiral" which led to him dealing drugs. And yet he lied to her mum's face and refused to cooperate with the investigation into the fatal shooting.

The former boyfriend of murder victim Ashley Dale has been sentenced for conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Lee Harrison, 27, of Liverpool Road, Huyton, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin and possession with intent to supply cocaine on 23 December 2024 at Liverpool Crown Court.
