One of the top names in Alabama's 2024 recruiting class has entered the NCAA transfer portal after only one season in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama baseball picked up its fourth offseason commitment from the transfer portal on Monday. Former South Alabama infielder Brennan Holt, who spent a year at LSU and a year at Oklahoma State, announced his decision to transfer to the Crimson Tide in a post to social media.

"I came here two years ago, and there's guys, especially in the world we're in right now, that could've cut and run, could've gone and found brighter, shinier things, and they chose to stay," Vaughn said on Saturday.
