AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin-area is ranked the fifth highest in the nation for the number of homes at risk of wildfire damage, according to a new study by analysis group Cotality. New data found over 94,000 homes in the Austin area are at moderate or greater risk for wildfire damage.

Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The University of Texas System Board of Regents will be asked this week to approve a six-year contract extension for Del Conte, online records show.
