Usher has jokingly apologized to Sabrina Carpenter's father after he reacted to the singer feeding his daughter a cherry at the 2025 Met Gala.

When Sabrina Carpenter shared a Met Gala photo dump on Instagram on Wednesday, there were a couple of hilarious Easter eggs (er, cherries?) in there that led to Usher apologizing to the "Espresso" singer's father for feeding her a cherry.

And Usher had his pick of celebrity women to choose from for the bit at the gala, with everybody from Zendaya to Kylie Jenner in attendance. However, it was singer Sabrina Carpenter who landed the iconic moment, which makes sense considering her reputation for proudly embracing her overt sexuality.
