All tsunami advisories have been canceled for coastal zones of California’s Central Coast, covering Santa Barbara and San Luis

A tsunami advisory that had been issued for part of the coast of California after a magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck the east coast of Russia has been lifted as of Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service announced.

The National Weather Service issued a tsunami watch for the West Coast after an earthquake struck off Russia's Kamchatka region on July 29.
