The tomb of Pharaoh Thutmose II is the first royal crypt discovered since 1940, and scientists have new powerful tools to analyze it.

Egypt announced that an ancient tomb was recently discovered, marking the first such royal tomb uncovered in over 100 years, said its Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

The finding comes more than one hundred years after King Tut’s remains were discovered in 1922, CBS News reported.
