A New York City police officer killed during a shooting at a Manhattan office tower is being laid to rest. NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City police officer who was among the four people shot and killed by a gunman during a rampage at a Manhattan office tower will be laid to rest Thursday.

Police Officer Didarul Islam, a father of two with a baby on the way, was one of the four people killed by Shane Tamura inside 345 Park Ave. on Monday.

The shooting occurred in the lobby of 345 Park Avenue on East 52nd Street, an office building that records indicate is home to the NFL, Blackstone and KPMG.
