Manchester United have reportedly entered into discussions with Aston Villa about bringing Marcus Rashford back to Old Trafford before the end of his loan spell. The 27-year-old is in real danger of missing the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury, which has struck weeks before the most important summer transfer window of his career.

Villa fear Rashford could miss the rest of the season with the hamstring injury which kept him out of the FA Cup semifinal, a source has told ESPN.

Further tests will be done to establish the severity of Rashford’s injury but it is not anticipated that he will need surgery.
