Las Vegas is set up to have a successful draft that began with the team using the No. 6 overall pick pick to select Ashton Jeanty, whose final season at Boise State stands alongside Barry Sanders' final year at Oklahoma State as the finest rushing seasons by a running back in college football history.

While Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson wore that jersey number in past seasons, Jeanty made it his mission to secure it and was willing to pay over six figures in order to lock down a deal. Jeanty even joked that Carlson could buy a house with all the money that he paid the kicker.
