The death toll from Russia’s heavy bombardment of Ukraine’s capital this week has risen to 31 people, marking the deadliest single attack on Kyiv in a year, Ukrainian officials said on Friday.

Ukrainian authorities say a Russian drone and missile attack on Ukraine’s capital killed at least eleven people including a 6-year-old boy.

A Russian aerial strike on a residential building in Kyiv killed six people, including a 6-year-old boy, and injured at least 52 others, the head of the city's military administration said Thursday.
