The Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers rounded out the top five in the third annual NLPA report card released Wednesday at the NFL scouting combine.

“You always stay responsible with your spending on the salary cap,” Hortiz said then. “In the end, if you get reckless, you pay the piper eventually. So we’re going to be responsible, we’re going to be clinical in our approach, and there’s going to be a plan to it. That’s how we’re going to roll.”

Always looking for edge rush help, the Atlanta Falcons could add a veteran ... as someone that could find the pink slip, as the Los Angeles Chargers continue to try and shed salary.

The Falcons traded a 2025 third-round pick (No. 77 overall) to the Patriots for Judon during training camp last season. Judon finished the year with 5.5 sacks, five passes defended and an interception. Per Pro Football Focus data, he ranked fourth on the Falcons with 25 total pressures.

The Falcons, who were 25th last year, moved to third after opening a new team training facility. The Raiders were fourth, followed by the Chargers, Texans and 49ers. The Chargers, who also opened a new team training facility, moved up from 30th in 2024.
