Louisiana sued the online gaming platform Roblox on Thursday, alleging the wildly popular site has perpetuated an environment where sexual predators “thrive, unite, hunt and victimize kids.”

Louisiana’s top prosecutor sued the popular online gaming platform Roblox, alleging in a lawsuit filed Thursday that the company’s failure to implement strong safety protocols for children has made it “the perfect place for pedophiles.

Online gaming platform Roblox has faced criticism for years that it doesn’t do enough to protect children using its platform. Now, Louisiana’s attorney general is suing the company, alleging among other things that it has and continues to “facilitate the distribution of child sexual abuse material and the sexual exploitation of Louisiana's children.
