Oklahoma could be in for a wet and wild week of severe weather, with the main tornado threat to the Oklahoma City area on Monday evening.

Get ready, as more severe storms are expected to move into Oklahoma Monday night after flooding and tornado warnings over the weekend.

A Tornado Watch has been issued for most of our area until 11 p.m. Monday night as a line of intense storms barrels in from the west.

Storms with lightning and hail were moving through the upper Midwest bringing the potential for strong tornadoes.

The threat of strong tornadoes, damaging hail and high winds is highest in the upper Midwest through Monday night. Severe weather and heavy rain will then stretch from the Great Lakes to the Southern Plains on Tuesday.
