Journalism, the Kentucky Derby runner-up and the race favorite, wins the 2025 Preakness Stakes, the last at Pimlico as we know it.

Journalism recovers from a bump and comes with a late surge to win the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico.

Gosger entered the race having won his last two starts, most recently claiming a victory in the Grade 3 Lexington Stakes in April. The horse is named after former MLB outfielder Jim Gosger, who told Paulick Report's Clark Spencer that being the horses namesake "ranks right up at the top" of his career.
