One person died from their injuries at the scene of the crash on northbound I-25 in Denver and paramedics took four to the hospital, three with serious injuries, police said.

One person was killed and four were taken to the hospital after Denver police say someone drove onto Interstate 25 at the Speer Boulevard exit the wrong way.

As police continue to investigate a deadly crash after a wrong-way driver traveled more than 30 miles on the wrong side of Interstate 25, one of the injured is recovering but has to undergo multiple surgeries.
