O n May 9, Beyoncé wrapped a historic run of five shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, 10 miles from downtown Los Angeles. According to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, the Cowboy Carter Tour kick-off grossed $55.7 million and sold 217,000 tickets.

From the Los Angeles run alone, the tour is the fifth-highest-grossing tour stop in Boxscore history, and the highest-grossing reported single-venue engagement ever by a woman. Additionally, Queen Bey has now played more shows at SoFi Stadium than any other artist in the venue’s history, with a total of eight, counting 2023’s RENAISSANCE tour.

Beyoncé soared across SoFi Stadium in a giant neon horseshoe, and then again in a red convertible Cadillac. She mounted and rode a gleaming, mechanical golden bull — all the while belting tunes from Cowboy Carter and her decades-spanning discography.
