The last day to vote in the 2022 midterm elections is Tuesday, November 8. For voters who choose to cast their ballots in-person on Election Day, the times polls open and close vary by each state.

Results from the first swing states, however, won’t start coming until the polls close in Georgia and North Carolina, where voting stops at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. respectively.

Of course, poll-closing times don’t uniformly reflect when results are available; we will have little settled from California or Alaska tonight no matter what.
