NASA is seeking submissions for a new zero gravity indicator (ZGI) that will accompany the Artemis II astronauts on their upcoming trip around the moon. The first astronauts preparing to fly to the moon in more than 50 years want your help identifying their "moon mascot." NASA's Artemis II crew is seeking an original idea for their zero-g indicator.

The space agency is holding a contest for the “zero gravity indicator” that will be carried aboard the Artemis II mission, due to launch in April 2026.

NASA's crewed Artemis II mission will have more than astronauts on board. It will also have a small zero gravity indicator plushie toy designed by the public.
