It’s been more than a decade since a team from Nevada won the U.S. side of the Little League World Series, but this year’s Summerlin South team has done that and now has a chance for something never before achieved by a team from The Silver State – to win the whole thing.

Baseball players between the ages of 10 and 12 gathered in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, for the annual Little League Baseball World Series, founded in 1947, featuring 20 teams — 10 from the United States and 10 international.
