The Philadelphia Eagles are amid an intense Thursday Night Football matchup with the Washington Commanders. Philly trailed the Commanders 7-3 by halftime; however, just before that, the team was hit with concerning Jalen Hurts injury scare.

Hurts has had ankle issues before. He missed a game late in the 2021 season with a sprained ankle that affected him into the first-round playoff loss to Tampa. Hurts was seen after that game with a walking boot. He also had ankle surgery more than a year later, in the spring of 2023.
