This year's Preakness Stakes will go down in history because it's the 150th anniversary of the iconic horse race. It's also the final time the race will be held at Pimlico Race Course. Nine, three-year-old thoroughbreds will compete for the honor of winning the "Middle Jewel" of the Triple Crown.

Preakness Stakes will run on Saturday at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore and post time is scheduled for 7:01 p.m. ET. The first Preakness was held in 1873 and the Preakness 2025 will mark the 150th Run for the Black-Eyed Susans in history.

This will be the final horse race at the track ahead of demolition and a major reconstruction project, which will impact Pimlico and the surrounding Park Heights neighborhood.
