Justin Rose took down JJ Spaun in a playoff at the FedEx St Jude Championship in Memphis to start the FedEx Cup Playoffs

Scheffler, the FedEx Cup points leader, used a final-round 67 to finish in a tie for third with Fleetwood at 15-under. Fleetwood once again missed out on his first PGA Tour title. A bogey on the 17th hole cost him a spot alongside Rose and Spaun in the playoff.
