Cooper Flagg joined ESPN for a quick interview after the Dallas Mavericks secured the No. 1 overall pick for the 2025 NBA Draft by winning the lottery.

Cooper Flagg was in attendance for the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago on Monday. Flagg witnessed the Dallas Mavericks shockingly win the lottery, and he sat down for an interview with ESPN afterward.

The former NBA standout said the Dallas Mavericks should trade the rights to No. 1 draft pick Cooper Flagg in a potential deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo, Devin Booker or Tyrese Maxey. The Mavericks won the NBA Draft Lottery Monday night and thus the rights to the 6-foot-8 Flagg in the Draft on June 25.
