The Anne Arundel County government is investigating a “cyber incident” that began disrupting county services Saturday.

Due to a cyber incident, county buildings in Anne Arundel County will be closed Monday. County officials confirmed that an "ongoing cyber incident" is affecting public services. County officials are investigating after a “cyber incident” shut down some public services over the weekend. In a post on X on Saturday, Feb. 22, the Anne Arundel County Government said that some public services were down and that the county was working to restore access.

An ongoing cyber incident has closed Anne Arundel County buildings. On Sunday, the office of the County Executive announced county buildings will be closed on Monday, Feb. 24. Employees who are telework-eligible are expected to work remotely using Google or internet-based systems.
