The first of two rallies against the Trump administration in North Carolina’s capital city took place on Capital Boulevard near Triangle Town Center in North Raleigh.
Organizers of the “No Kings” demonstrations said millions had marched in hundreds of events. In Oregon, tens of thousands of people gathered in downtown Portland for two large protests -- one that began in Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the other at the Oregon Convention Center.
Thousands rallied in front of Flagstaff City Hall Saturday as part of the nationwide “no kings” protests. It was one of 40 in Arizona alone and nearly 2,000 nationwide. The Flagstaff demonstration stretched for nearly two blocks on both sides of Route 66.
