With about 25,000 visitors annually and no roads or electricity, Isle Royale's seclusion is both its appeal and what makes recent deaths there so mysterious.

The two deceased campers that were found at South Lake Desor Campground in Isle Royale National Park have been identified.

The National Park Service said it has identified the two people found dead at Isle Royale Monday morning. In a Thursday evening press release, the NPS said the family has been notified, but did not include the campers’ names or where they’re from.
