At least two people have been injured in a shooting that erupted outside a mosque in Örebro, Sweden. The gunman, who is on the run, opened fire during prayers at a mosque in the Vivilla district at around 1.45pm local time (12.45pm BST). Many people were inside the building at the time.
The shooting took place in the parking lot outside the mosque in the central city of Örebro in the early afternoon following Friday prayers, police said. The victim was a 25-year-old man who was shot dead leaving the mosque, and the man injured was also in his 20s.
