Now that I have been there, I will answer my own question. NO! This location is not recommended for motorhomes or trucks and trailers. Shorter motorhomes would be OK as long as you do not have a trailer. This location is 12 miles off the main road way on a narrow 2 Lane Road that is very poorly maintained with bumps and potholes. May/June is typically a good time to try since Spring runoff will typically raise river water levels sufficiently to have all or most of the gates opened to allow the falls to flow. It is also interesting to view the falls without the water running and to see the exposed rock formation/cliffs that forced Lewis and Clark to portage around the series of five falls (one is now submerged due to the four dams along the Missouri in and around Great Falls.
