Katie's overlook is on Katka road , and a couple miles past the overlook you enter the Panhandle Forest.... To get there you take Ash to Cowcreek to Katka Google map will find Katka Rd.... In case my memory is wrong, it's about 7 miles east of downtown. The Kootenai Wildlife Reserve is west of town... Both great places to visit.
